A North Hollywood man was scheduled to be arraigned on charges that he bilked three women in their 60s and 70s out of thousands of dollars while claiming that he was helping them to get mortgage modifications.
He is set to appear in a San Fernando courtroom next Thursday.
Jovanny Malka, 29, is charged with three felony counts each of theft from an elder or dependent adult exceeding $950 and grand theft of personal property exceeding $950.
