A person was found dead after an apparent suicide in San Pedro Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters were called about 1:30 p.m. to rocks below a cliff off the 2300 block of West Warmouth Street and found the person lifeless, Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez said the person died by suicide.
