A fire in a West Los Angeles apartment left one person in grave condition Thursday night.
The fire was reported at 7:27 p.m. in a third-floor unit of a three- story apartment building at 2355 S. Bentley Ave., Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The injured victim was treated aggressively by firefighters and was in grave condition with CPR being performed when taken to a hospital, Scott said.
The fire department’s Arson Section was investigating the cause of the blaze, which was put out in 21 minutes by more than 50 firefighters, Scott said.
