A man held off police from a home near Leimert Park for more than three hours Sunday, as officers thought he was armed, but he surrendered.
Los Angeles police were dispatched to a “man with a gun” call in the 3800 block of Arlington Avenue at about 7 a.m., said Officer Mike Lopez of the Media Relations Section.
A SWAT team was eventually dispatched to the location.
The suspect surrendered to police about 10:30 a.m., said Lopez, adding that no one was injured during the standoff.
