A man was shot to death in Lakewood, and four people have been detained for questioning, authorities said Thursday.
The shooting in the 11500 block of Carson Street occurred around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Kelvin Moody said.
The victim was sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle and died at the scene, Deputy Trina Schrader said.
A second man also suffered an injury and was briefly hospitalized, Schrader said.
Four people were detained at the scene and were being interviewed by homicide detectives, she said.
