A 58-year-old El Segundo man was arrested by a law enforcement task force for allegedly being in possession of thousands of images and videos depicting child pornography, authorities said Tuesday.
After receiving information that Ian Maclure was allegedly involved in the trading and downloading of child porn, detectives from the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at his home a week ago, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The detectives recovered digital devices containing more than 100,000 images and 1,000 videos depicting child pornography, the LAPD reported.
Maclure was booked into the LAPD’s Metropolitan Detention Center and was freed on $20,000 bail. He is due in court on June 30.
