An assault with a deadly weapon suspect surrendered to police after barricading himself inside a Pacoima apartment complex.
A SWAT team was sent to the 12000 block of Osbourne Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police used a SWAT vehicle to evacuate some residents from the second floor of the apartment complex on Thursday.
The suspect surrendered without further incident at 6:55 p.m., said Officer Sara Faden of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.
Information about the unidentified suspect and the crime he is accused of committing was not immediately available.
