That’s what a woman in the Agoura Hills area was probably thinking Saturday after she was awakened this week in the early morning hours and found a man standing over her bed.

Deputies were called about 5:10 a.m. Friday to a home in the 29000 block of Silver Creek Road, said Lt. Patrick Mathers of the Los Angeles County sheriff’s Malibu-Lost Hills Station.

The woman said she awoke, saw the man standing over her bed and screamed, prompting a male resident of the home to confront the suspect, Mathers said.

The intruder ran from the location and drove away in a white 1995-2000 model year Jeep Cherokee with black mirrors, Mathers said.

“The suspect had entered through an unlocked patio door,” Mathers said.

The man was described as Hispanic, 25-30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds with short dark hair.

It was unclear if he was attempting to burglarize the home, Mathers said.
