Power was fully restored in the Silver Lake area Wednesday morning.
The outage reported Tuesday night in the 600 block of North Hoover Street initially affected 21,000 customers, but 12,000 were re-connected before midnight. All power was restored by of 4:17 a.m., Jason Stinnett of the Department of Water and Power told City News Service.
The outage was caused by an explosion in a vault, according to the DWP.
