A bicyclist believed to be in his late 40s was struck and killed by a vehicle on Imperial Highway in Hawthorne.
The crash was reported at 7:57 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway near Sundale Avenue, California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Rubio said.
All eastbound lanes of Imperial Highway were closed from Felton Avenue to Sundale Avenue following the crash, Rubio said.
Authorities Saturday were investigating the deadly accident.
