More than 120 firefighters took almost an hour to bring a commercial building fire under control in the Glassell Park neighborhood early Saturday.
A firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling the blaze, Los Angeles City Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said. It was not immediately known whether he was transported to an area hospital.
The fire at 2529 San Fernando Road was reported at 12:30 a.m. and was knocked down in 55 minutes, Stewart said.
She said some of the 127 firefighters on scene also had to contend with a nearby broken water main.
San Fernando Road was closed in both directions as the fire was fought.
