Two fires in the Angeles National Forest in the Littlerock area burned three acres of brush Tuesday.

The fires near Mount Emma Road and 47th Street East were reported shortly after 4 p.m. and were out in 32 minutes, according to Nathan Judy of the U.S. Forest Service.

Judy said he did not know why there were two fires, but said the fires were beside a road, and the fires could have been caused by sparks from bypassing vehicles.
