Operations are expected to return to almost normal Thursday at the Pasadena Courthouse, where a fire earlier in the week forced the relocation of various court hearings.
According to the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Public Information Office, business will operate as usual at the courthouse Thursday, with some exceptions.
The clerk’s office and the first, fifth and sixth floors will be open, but the second, third and fourth floors will remain closed. The Public Defenders Office will be temporarily located on the first floor behind the Family Law Clerk’s Office.
Departments D, E, F, G, H and J will all be open.
Cases scheduled in Dept. A will be heard in Dept. P; cases scheduled in Departments B and C will be heard in Dept. O, cases in Dept. K will be in Dept. R, and cases scheduled in Dept. S will be in Dept. 270.
The fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. Monday on the third floor of the courthouse at 300 E. Walnut St.
