An SUV crashed into a wall in the back yard of a home in Costa Mesa on Monday night and the driver was taken to a hospital.
The crash occurred at 7:22 p.m. in the 2700 block of Mesa Verde Drive, said Sgt. Doug Johnson of the Costa Mesa Police Department.
There was no indication the driver’s injuries were life threatening, Johnson said.
The SUV crashed through a wall and into the house, Johnson said. It didn’t go far into the house, Johnson said, although KCAL9 reported that the house would have to be examined for structural problems.
Johnson said he had no idea what caused the crash.
