Authorities Saturday investigated the deaths of a man and woman, both in their 80s, who were killed in their silver Jaguar when it collided with another car in the unincorporated Willowbrook area.

The crash was at the intersection of South Central Avenue and El Segundo Boulevard, California Highway Patrol Officer AnthonyPolizzi said.

The 82-year old woman was pronounced dead at the scene early Friday evening, Polizzi said.

The 84-year-old driver of the vehicle died at a hospital about four hours later, a CHP release said. Officials did not say if the two people in the Jaguar were related.

The driver turned his vehicle, a silver Jaguar, left from Central Avenue onto El Segundo Boulevard, into the path of a Kia Sorrento driven by Martin Limones, 20, of Lynwood, the CHP release said.

Limones suffered minor injuries.

There were no arrests, and an investigation into the collision was continuing, the statement said.
