Two men were shot and killed during an argument in the parking lot of a McDonald’s restaurant in the unincorporated Willowbrook area, a sheriff’s deputy said Sunday.
The shooting in the 11800 block of Wilmington Avenue occurred at 10:35 p.m. Saturday. Paramedics rushed the two men to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead, said Deputy Kelvin Moody of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Two suspects, described as men in their early 20s, and the victims were inside the restaurant when they began to argue.
The argument continued outside and escalated into a fight. At some point one suspect pulled out a handgun and shot both victims in the chest, Moody said.
The suspects fled the scene in a black, four-door sedan northbound on Wilmington Avenue, he said.
