Three men in their 20s were killed and a fourth critically injured in a two-vehicle collision early Sunday in North Hills and a 19-year-old suspected drunken driver was arrested.

Riley John Holman of Mission Hills was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jim Hahn of the Valley Traffic Division.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 2:50 a.m. to the crash in the 8300 block of North Haskell Avenue, near Roscoe Boulevard, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Holman, the lone occupant in his vehicle, was going eastbound on Roscoe Boulevard in a 2004 Jeep Liberty when his vehicle struck a westbound 1993 Toyota Corolla with four occupants, Hahn said.

Two men died at the scene and another was pronounced dead at a hospital, said Lt. Fred Corral of the coroner’s office.

Holman suffered minor injuries, Hahn said.

Anyone who witnessed the crash was asked to call the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division at (818) 644-8000.
