A 12-year-old girl turned up Wednesday near the same North Hills location where she went missing the day before.

Donyetta Butts was spotted about 11:30 a.m. near the Hometown Inn in the 9400 block of Sepulveda Boulevard,  said Los Angeles police Lt. David Bluestein of the Mission station.

“The investigation is still ongoing. We have no reason to expect foul play,” Bluestein told City News Service.

Butts, who takes medication but did not have it with her, was last seen about 9:55 p.m. Tuesday, when she left her family’s room at the inn to take out trash, Los Angeles police said.

Her mother, Michelle Mosby, told the Daily News Donyetta had been frequenting the basketball courts at the Sepulveda Recreation center at 8801 Kester Ave. in Panorama City.

Mosby said she was concerned about her daughter’s contact with an older man named Alfonso, with whom the girl sometimes would shoot baskets, the newspaper reported.
