A man was fatally struck Sunday by a hit-and-run motorist in South Los Angeles.
The death in the area of 103rd Street and Broadway occurred a little before 1 a.m., said Los Angeles police Sgt. Philip Ybarra of the South Traffic Division.
It was not immediately known whether the man died at the scene or at an area hospital, Ybarra said.
The police sergeant had no other immediate information.
