A suspect was hospitalized in stable condition early Saturday after being shot by a Los Angeles Police officer.
The shooting occurred at 11:45 p.m. Friday on the 1400 block of West 29th Street in the Adams-Normandie area near the USC campus, LAPD Sgt. Carlton Brown said.
The involved officer was not injured and an investigation was underway, Brown said.
