One person was killed and another wounded in a shooting in South Los Angeles on Thursday.
The gunfire was reported at 6:15 p.m. in the 2100 block of West Century Boulevard, near Van Ness Avenue, Los Angeles police Officer Drake Madison said.
Both victims were taken to a hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead, Madison said.
A news videographer at the scene said the victims were both males.
An update on the condition of the victim who survived was not immediately available, Madison said.
