Police Saturday sought the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old boy, described as a high functioning autistic, who ran away from his home in Montebello.
Jose Arellano was last seen Friday night, according to a statement from the Montebello Police Department.

Arellano’s mother woke up this morning and saw that he left a note for her, saying he was not happy with his last interaction with a therapist, and that that was reason why he ran away.
Police said Arellano likes to frequent libraries and parks in Montebello. He was described as a 5-foot, 5-inch tall Latino weighing 150 pounds.
Montebello police asked anyone with any information regarding Arellano’s whereabouts to call them at (323) 887-1200.
