Two people were killed Monday night when the Ford Model T in which they were driving crashed into a tree in a Temple City intersection and burst into flames.
The single-vehicle accident was reported at 6:54 p.m. at Temple City Boulevard and Broadway, said Sgt. Julie Geary of the Sheriff’s Temple Station.
The crash victims were pronounced dead at the scene, Geary said.
The intersection was expected to be closed for several hours for the investigation, Geary said.
