A man hanged himself among some trees and brushes today on the side of the Glenn M. Anderson (105) Freeway in Hawthorne.
A California Highway Patrol officer found the man’s body just after 1:50 p.m. on the right shoulder near the westbound Crenshaw Boulevard off-ramp, said CHP Officer Alex Rubio.
A representative from the coroner’s office arrived at the scene at 4:40 p.m., according to the CHP.
