A 69-year-old Lancaster woman who had been reported missing was located in good condition Saturday morning by Kern County Sheriff‘s deputies, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff‘s deputies.
Mildred Harris was to be reunited with her family as soon as possible, said Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. No details were provided about how Harris was located in Kern County or what she was doing there.
A Silver Alert was issued Friday for Harris because she suffers from medical conditions and can become disoriented.
She drove away from her home at 8 a.m. Friday in a white Hyundai Santa Fe and did not return.
