A missing man was found dead inside a car parked outside an Azusa business, apparently having committed suicide, police said Friday.
The man was found behind the steering wheel by a business owner in the 900 block of Tenth Street about 3 p.m. Thursday, said Azusa Police Corporal T. Avila. The business owner called police, who went to the scene, along with L.A. County fire paramedics, he said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene from what appeared to be carbon monoxide poisoning, Avila said.
Police said the man had been reported to Monrovia police on Sept. 8 to be missing and suicidal. His name was withheld pending family notification.
