Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud was arrested at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 2500 block of Wallingford Drive, said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Al-Saud, 28, is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 19.
A caretaker at a home at a gated community on Wallingford Drive called police to report a disturbance. After officers talked to several people, Al-Saud was arrested, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Neighbor Tennyson Collins told The Times that a resident reported seeing a bleeding woman scream for help as she tried to scale the home’s 8-foot-high wall Wednesday afternoon.
When Collins drove home from work after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, the newspaper reported, police followed his car through the gates and onto the property — described as a 22,000-square foot compound valued at $37 million.
Police told The Times that Al-Saud was renting the home and that they had to escort some 20 people out of the house, many of them staff.
