South Pasadena Police Wednesday sought public help to find a man who burglarized a restaurant and may have committed several other similar crimes.
The break-in occurred at the Barkley Restaurant & Bar, 1400 Huntington Drive, about 5:40 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
Investigators circulated security images of the unidentified suspect, described as a black man in his 30s with a goatee and short hair.
“He forced entry into the location by prying open a rear door to the restaurant,” according to a police statement. “Once inside, the suspect searched the office area, but left without taking any items.”
The suspect may have burglarized four other restaurants in the city this month, police said.
Anyone with information about his identity or whereabouts was urged to call police at (626) 403-7280, or (626) 403-7265.
