It was a commuter’s nightmare Friday morning as a truck carrying hot tar overturned on the southbound Chino Valley (71) Freeway Friday, prompting the closure of freeway lanes.
The dump truck flipped over near Old Pomona Road around 4:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Pomona Police Department said no serious injuries were reported.
The road was cleared and reopened at 10:52 a.m., according to the CHP.
