A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder for reportedly stabbing to death his 27-year-old brother during a fight Sunday in North Hollywood.

The two brothers were fighting at 1:42 a.m. near Saticoy Street and Tujunga Avenue, when Angel Verdugo pulled out a knife and stabbed his brother several times, said Officer Mike Lopez of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.

The 27-year-old man died at the scene and Verdugo, a resident of North Hollywood, was arrested on suspicion of murder, Lopez said.
