A fire damaged a strip mall in Pico Rivera Tuesday, but no one was hurt.

The fire was reported in the 4500 block of South Rosemead Boulevard around 4:25 a.m., with flames showing through the roof of one of the strip mall’s shops, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervisor Miguel Nellis. The blaze then spread to other units.

The three-alarm fire was fought by more than 100 firefighters, the fire department reported. The flames were extinguished in about an hour and 40 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation. A damage estimate was not immediately available.
