Officers responding to a shooting call about 10:50 p.m. Saturday found George Louis Martinez Jr. lying on a sidewalk in the 6000 block of Kester Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“An unknown male Hispanic was seen on the street during the time of the shooting but fled the area before the officers arrived,” according to an LAPD statement.
