A Whittier chiropractor has begun serving a four- month jail term for inappropriately touching patients at his home and office.
Steven Patrick Lowry, 32, was sentenced Friday after pleading no contest Oct. 8 to three counts of misdemeanor sexual battery against three women.
In addition to three years probation following his release, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Lillian Jacobs ordered Lowry to attend one year of sexual compulsion classes and register as a lifetime sex offender.
Prosecutors said Lowry would treat patients at the office and then propose private massages at his home.
