The Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in Chatsworth was back to normal traffic Saturday morning after a man was killed in a three-vehicle collision, authorities said.

The crash on the westbound side of the freeway just east of Topanga Canyon Boulevard brought traffic to a halt as all westbound lanes were initially closed and only one lane was reopened 90 minutes later, California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball said.

At least one of the involved vehicles struck a stalled white cargo van, Kimball said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Shawn Lenske of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Two other people sustained minor injuries in the Friday night post-rush hour crash but were not taken to a hospital,h Lenske said.
