Two boys allegedly abducted by their birth parents in Moreno Valley in Riverside County were found safe early Thursday in Artesia, authorities said.
The boys — Corey, 7, and Justin, 4 — were unharmed, said Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Armando Munoz. Their parents, Travis Rusty Jace, 25, and Angie Janie George, 24, were arrested at the scene.
The boys were walking with a foster parent in the 12900 block of Frederick Street about 3:35 p.m. Wednesday when a white newer model Chrysler pulled alongside them, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. A man and woman exited and forced the children into the car.
