Police Friday were seeking the help of the public in locating two or more armed and dangerous suspects responsible for a string of armed robbery attempts in West Covina.
There were two robberies Thursday morning and the other two attempts occurred Wednesday morning, West Covina Police Department Cpl. Rudy Lopez said.
In each case, the suspects stopped their light-colored vehicle near the victim, exited, pointed or displayed a handgun and demanded cash or property, Lopez said.
The suspects were described as 20-30 years old, and 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. One suspects weighed around 150 pounds, the other 170 to 200 pounds, Lopez said.
None of the victims was injured, but the suspects are regarded as armed and dangerous, Lopez said.
Anyone with information on the crimes was asked to call the West Covina Police Department at (626) 939-8557.
