A human thigh bone was found in a canyon in Altadena, authorities said.
The femur was found about 7 p.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Tanoble Drive, Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the LA Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
Investigators searched the area for additional remains, she said.
The find was not believed related to human remains found in the Lake Hughes area on Saturday or to a skeletal hand found in the Tujunga area on Sunday, Navarro-Suarez said.
