Two men were shot and wounded in Pomona, police said.
The shooting in the 1900 block of Denison Street was reported at 10:47 p.m. Sunday, said Pomona Police Sgt. Scott Hess.
Officers found 24-year-old Anthony Delatorre suffering from a non-life- threatening gunshot wound to his forehead and 23-year-old Andy Rossatty wounded around his lower back, Hess said.
Delatorre was taken to a hospital for treatment and Rossatty was airlifted to a trauma center, where his vital signs are stable, Hess said.
The suspect or suspects fled in a gray 1990s model Honda Accord station wagon with a hubcap missing from the rear wheel on the driver’s side, he said.
It was not clear whether the shots were fired from the vehicle, Hess said.
Anyone with information on the shooting was asked to call Pomona Police at (909) 620-2085 or, anonymously, Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
