A 23-year-old man shot and killed his father during an argument at their Valencia home and then fatally shot himself, authorities confirmed Monday.
The shootings occurred about 8:10 p.m. Sunday in the 28700 block of Iron Village Drive, said Deputy Tony Moore of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Gary Hunt, 53, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body, and Joshua Hunt died of a single gunshot wound to the head, according to the coroner’s office.
A handgun was recovered at the scene, Moore said.
