Fire damaged a mobile home in the rear of a residence Sunday in Del Rey, near Culver City.
Los Angeles firefighters were dispatched to 11349 Utopia Ave. and when they arrived on the scene Culver City firefighters were already in the midst of battling the fire, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was reported to authorities a little after 11 a.m.
A representative from the Culver City Fire Department could not be reached for comment, to determine an approximate time of when the fire was knocked down.
A large plume of smoke was visible in the area east of Marina del Rey. There were no reports of injuries, nor were there any other details immediately available.
