
A man was struck and killed Sunday by a hit-and-run motorist in Hollywood.
A watch sergeant at the Los Angeles Police Department‘s West Traffic Division said the crash occurred near Hollywood Boulevard and Ivar Avenue, adding that he had no other immediate information.
Paramedics were dispatched to the location at 4:32 a.m., in response to an “auto versus pedestrian” call, the sergeant said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Lt. Fred Corral of the coroner’s office.
