A motorist was killed when a vehicle overturned Sunday on the right shoulder of the Orange (57) Freeway in Diamond Bar.

The crash on the northbound freeway at the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway occurred at 5:16 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The motorist, who was driving a white sedan, was rushed to an area hospital and pronounced dead, said CHP Officer Tony Polizzi. The gender of the motorist was not immediately known.
