
A motorist was killed when a vehicle overturned Sunday on the right shoulder of the Orange (57) Freeway in Diamond Bar.
The crash on the northbound freeway at the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway occurred at 5:16 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorist, who was driving a white sedan, was rushed to an area hospital and pronounced dead, said CHP Officer Tony Polizzi. The gender of the motorist was not immediately known.
A county fire department dispatcher said the motorist, the lone occupant inside the car, was rushed to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.
