Do you know this guy?

Police are hoping surveillance images will help them identify and apprehend a gunman suspected of killing a 22-year-old man outside a hip hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

The shooting, which left three other people wounded, occurred about 2:20 a.m. Sunday at The Standard hotel near Sixth and Flower streets, said Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relation Section.

Thomas Johnson, whose hometown was not immediately available, died at a hospital. The three other victims were hospitalized in stable condition. No arrests have been reported.

The 12-story, 207-room hotel, which has been among the cornerstones of a tourist and nightlife resurgence in downtown Los Angeles, features a rooftop pool and German beer garden.

The hotel is at the site of the former Superior Oil headquarters building and is known for attracting a young — and often “hipster” — crowd to take in the city views and even engage in some spirited competition at a ping-pong lounge.

Before the shooting, two groups of men began arguing and then fighting in from of the hotel at 550 S. Flower St., police said.

“After the fight ended, a suspect pulled out a handgun and began shooting at the victims,” according to an LAPD statement.

Two male victims were shot in front of the hotel and were later taken to hospitals for treatment, police said.

“Mr. Johnson ran to the rear of the hotel through the lobby to avoid getting shot,” according to the LAPD. “Simultaneously, the suspect ran around the hotel toward the rear and confronted Mr. Johnson.”

The suspect fired several shots, striking Johnson and another victim who fired back with his own gun, police sad.

The suspect is described as black, 5 feet 10 inches tall with black hair worn in corn rows, brown eyes and a black mustache. He wore a long black trench coat, black pants and black shoes.
