A narcotics cultivation investigation in La Habra culminated Thursday with three arrests and the confiscation of 40 pounds of marijuana, approximately $44,700, 11 assault rifles and 25 handguns.

Search warrants served at approximately 3 a.m. to homes in the 1400 block of West Lambert Road, the 1200 block of North Cypress Street and the 600 block of South Palm Street also recovered 12 illegal 30-round assault rifle magazines and parts to build another 12 rifles, according to a statement from the La Habra Police Department.

La Habra residents Adam Kinney, 28; Grant David Winn, 30, and Christina Thompson, 25, were arrested on various felony narcotics charges and misdemeanor child endangerment in connection to the items found.

Police released no other immediate information.
