One person was killed Tuesday and five others were injured in a four-vehicle, head-on collision on Pearblossom Highway in Palmdale.
The deadly collision was reported at 5:10 p.m. at 3744 Pearblossom Highway, Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervisor Cheryl Sims said.
Two people were rushed to an area hospital, three suffered minor injuries and one refused treatment at the scene, Sims said.
Sheriff’s deputies were handling the investigation. A watch commander said he did not know the gender of the person killed or any other details about the crash.
All east and westbound lanes were blocked at 40th Street East and Pearblossom Highway.
