A man in his mid-20s robbed a US Bank branch inside a Ralphs supermarket in Arcadia.
The robbery occurred at 3:32 p.m. Wednesday at the store at 1101 W. Huntington Drive, said Arcadia Police Sgt. Ernest Lopez.
The robber walked to a window and gave the teller a demand note, Lopez said. The teller gave him currency and he left the store.
There was no word whether the man displayed or simulated a gun, Lopez said.
The alleged robber was described as Hispanic, 26 or 27 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with a goatee, wearing a dark hoodie, black pants and a distinctive black and white striped fedora with a black band, Lopez said.
