A man believed armed surrendered to sheriff’s deputies after a four-hour standoff at an Agoura Hills home.
Authorities were called to the home in the 28700 block of Roadside Drive at about 3 p.m. on a report of a man with a gun in the house, said sheriff’s Sgt. Vincent Plair.
“There were some evacuations in the neighborhood,” Plair said.
Sheriff’s crisis negotiators came to the scene and talked the man into surrendering at about 7 p.m., Wednesday he said. The Special Weapons Team had surrounded the house.
There were no injuries, Plair said.
