A man armed with a gun broke into a home in Porter Ranch early Wednesday morning but was frightened off by the homeowners, police said.
The would-be home invasion robbery took place about 12:50 a.m. at 20820 Sardinia Way, said Los Angeles Police Lt. D. Thompson.
“The homeowners who were there at the time confronted the man and he fled through a window in the back of the house,” he said.
No shots were fired and no injuries were reported, Thompson said.
“As far as we know, the suspect did not steal anything from the home,” Thompson said.
