A restaurant deliveryman was shot and robbed Tuesday morning as he brought food to a condominium unit in a West Hollywood residential neighborhood.

The shooting outside 1025 N. Kings Road happened about 1 a.m., according to Sgt. Shawn Cohen of the sheriff’s West Hollywood Station.

The victim, a man in his 20s whose name was withheld, was taken to a hospital for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body and was expected to survive, Cohen said.

No description was immediately available of two men who shot him.

They took a credit card reader and possibly the victim’s cell phone, Cohen said.

The deliveryman was bringing food to a legitimate customer when the shooting occurred, according to the sergeant.
