A motorist shot multiple times on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway Tuesday was later located on a surface street near downtown and hospitalized in unknown condition, Los Angeles police said.
The LAPD received a 911 call at 10:58 a.m. about the shooting and officers later found a male victim inside a white van near Sunset Boulevard and Figueroa Street.
“The victim was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds,” said Los Angeles police Officer Aareon Jefferson. “He was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to a hospital. His current condition was unknown.”
Jefferson said he did not know the motive for the attack or where it occurred.
